Welcome to my web site and the world of model ships. My fascination with model ships began back when I was a young boy. Since that time I have built many model ships. The earlier ones were kits which I modified extensively enhancing the accuracy and detail. Later, as I broadened my knowledge and developed my skills, I became a scratch builder. Today I build almost exclusively from scratch fashioning my own timber and fittings. Past and present era sailing ships have always been my favorite.
