The Wessex Model Boat club 88 of Bournemouth, Dorset, England, was reformed as the title suggests in 1988, to cover all aspects of Model Boating. I am pleased to say the club to date has 39 members, of all ages, running fast electric, glowplug engine power boats, sail, and scale. During the summer months from April to October, the club meets every Sunday at a private lake near Mannington, close to Three Legged Cross. There are also two other lakes available to the club, and these are : rear of Bournemouth Hospital, and Queens Park Golf links.
